*If you bought a Pinter 2 between 29th September 2021 and 19th April 2022 and have not received a new modified Core Pinter, please ensure you brew on OFF as previously advised.

Why have the Carbonation instructions changed now?

We regularly review our Brewing guidelines in order to ensure you can get the best Brew possible from your Pinter.

We do apologise if this causes any confusion or inconvenience, but rest assured we always have our customers and their Brews at the heart of every decision made!

Why do I need to Brew with a different Carbonation Dial setting?

As part of modifying Pinter 2, your new Core Pinter has an entirely new Carbonation Valve which allows you to use all of the carbonation settings.

This means that the setting you previously may have Brewed your favourite style on will have changed. To get the best result, we recommend brewing on the advised setting displayed above on this page.

I’ve brewed my beer on a lower setting than recommended. What should I do?

We encourage you to change the Carbonation Dial to the recommended setting and finish off your Brew – our settings are recommendations only, not rules and everyone has different tastes.

If you finish your brew and are unhappy with how it's turned out, do get in touch with our Customer Care Team. You can reach us via Live Chat or Email using the "Need some help?" tab to the right of your screen, and we’ll be happy to recommend something else, on us.

Please make sure to include the following information:

  • Your full name and email address
  • The name of the Fresh Press and its order number
  • A video of how your Brew is/was pouring
