Where is my order?
You can find out your delivery window by checking the confirmation email that was sent to you when you first completed your order. We will also send you an email once your order is dispatched with tracking information so you know where it is right up to when it arrives at your door. If your order has not arrived with you within your delivery window, please get in touch with us: email@example.com. Please include your name and order number so we can help you even faster.
I’ve received my Pinter, but not my Fresh Presses.
Your Pinter Bundle includes your Pinter and first two Fresh Press Pinter Packs which will be packaged and shipped together. You’ll be able to find both your Pinter Packs inside the yellow box under the Pinter itself. They can be easy to miss at first especially without opening the box, but when you lift your Pinter both Press Packs will be there. However, if you’ve ordered additional Presses alongside your Pinter Bundle or Co-Pinter, these will be delivered separately. Please allow the full delivery window at the time of purchase for all your items to arrive with you.
What are the Pinter and Co-Pinter Dimensions?
The size of the Pinter and Co-Pinter is: 38 cm L x 24.5 cm W x 22 cm H. The Pinter needs to be Conditioned in the fridge so we recommend that you measure your fridge to see if it will fit.
Why have I been charged twice for my subscription?
The cut-off date to sign up for the Fresh Beer Club in the current month, is by midnight on the 19th. Your rolling monthly payment is then taken out on the 28th of the month, and every month there after. If you sign up before the 20th, you're paying for the month that we are currently in and will receive your Pinter Pack and Welcome Glass within the delivery window stated in your order confirmation email. You will then be charged on the 28th of the same month which pays for the next month's subscription. If you sign up after the 20th, you are paying for the following month, so will still receive your Pinter Pack and Welcome Glass within the delivery window stated in your order confirmation email but you will not be charged again until the 28th of the next month. Fresh Beer Subscription orders are dispatched in the first working days of the month.
How do I change my Fresh Beer Club choice?
If you're having trouble changing your Fresh Beer selection for your next month's Fresh Beer Club Subscription, it may be because a Press has already been selected. Your Fresh Beer selection automatically defaults to previous month's choice. If you would like to change your last choice for something different, you will need to click on the 'minus' icon next to the Fresh Press that has a '1' in the box then click on the 'plus' icon of the Fresh Press you would like instead.
I can't attach my Brewing Dock - help!
We’ve got a handy guide in the following video that should help: How to attach your Brewing Dock. If you’re still having difficulty, there is an alternative method which is to try attaching your Brewing Dock upside down, by lowering your Pinter onto the Brewing Dock and using the weight of your Pinter to help encourage it into position. We advise to do this in the sink or away from any carpet, as there is a very small chance of some spillage.
Why is my Fresh Beer or Fresh Cider cloudy?
The cloudiness of the Fresh Beer or Fresh Cider depends on which Style you've decided to make. Like lots of craft beers, ours can be cloudy. This is due to the ingredients that give them their distinctive flavours! You can learn more about cloudy or hazy Fresh Beers and Fresh Ciders here: Hazy Beers. Most importantly, our Fresh Beers and Fresh Ciders are unfiltered; filtering is one of the tricks big industrial brewers use to make their drinks clear more quickly, which we feel compromises the freshness.
Can I bottle my Fresh Beer?
We do not recommend bottling our Fresh Beers from the Pinter. There is a chance that a secondary fermentation can occur, which could become dangerous if extra pressure is created inside the bottle.
Why does my Space Hopper look different to the other Presses? And how do I mix it?
The higher malt content in the Space Hopper makes it a very viscous Press, so it can look a little different to our other Fresh Presses. This is perfectly normal and nothing to worry about. However, due to the added thickness of the liquid you will need to thoroughly mix it once added to your Pinter for longer than the usual recommended 10 seconds, to allow more time for the Fresh Press and water to combine correctly. You can also place the Fresh Press bottle in warm (not boiling) water for 10-20 minutes before adding to your Pinter which will help it mix with the water and yeast.
Is it normal there's foam coming from the back of my Pinter?
Foam coming from the Carbonation Dial can often indicate that the Beer or Cider was not quite cold enough during Conditioning. Conditioning allows the CO2 created by the yeast during fermentation to be dissolved which makes it carbonated. If the Pinter is not cold enough during Conditioning, the CO2 will not be fully absorbed. This means the pressure can instead be released through the Carbonation Dial when it's turned to 'Off', and can force out some foam with it. It may be that the fridge temperature was not low enough, that the fridge was opened a little too frequently or even that other items in the fridge may have brought the temperature up. Conditioning your Pinter for an extra few days, at a slightly lower temperature if possible, should help to prevent this from happening again.
How long is the Beer Fresh For?
Fresh Beer will stay fresh in the Pinter for up to 30 days in the fridge before tapping. Fresh Beer is at its optimum quality up to 7 days after tapping and may start to lose carbonation after this. Keeping your Pinter cold is the best way to make sure your Beers stay as Fresh as possible.
It looks like there is water leaking from the seam of my Pinter, is this normal?
When water is trapped between the inside bottle and the casing of the Pinter, it can seem like there is a leak. Water may get trapped during cleaning or purification and it is not discovered until it is then in the Conditioning position. This isn't anything to worry about, and doesn't indicate any problem with your Pinter, you just need to allow it to fully dry. We'd recommend making sure your Pinter isn't fully submerged in water during cleaning to help avoid this happening.
