How do I get replacement parts?

Is the Purifier safe?

The Purifier can be dangerous if consumed in its concentrated form – please refer to the product label for more information. Do not get any Purifier in your eyes. The Purifier is safe to use as directed only. 

Why do I need the purifier?

When making alcoholic drinks in this way, it’s very important that the Pinter is perfectly clean otherwise you can spoil the end result. The Purifier ensures the Pinter is sterile. 

Can I mix and match colours?

Each Pinter comes in its own colour – you can’t mix and match. 

I spilt some Fresh Press/yeast, will my brew still work with what is left?

The Fresh Presses and yeast are carefully balanced to give the perfect drink. If you spill some, it’s likely you can get a great drink still, but depending on how much you have spilt, it may not reach its full potential.

If I add more or less yeast, will that affect how alcoholic my drink is?

Less yeast means the fermentation happens more slowly which can result in your drink being less alcoholic. More yeast means the drink can ferment faster but this can also affect the flavour. The overall ABV of the drink is restricted by how many edible sugars there are for the yeast to drink – so more yeast doesn’t necessarily mean a higher ABV. 

Do you have an alcohol free version?

Not at the moment but we hope to launch one. 

Do you have drinks other than beer and cider?

I lost my yeast, can I just use bread yeast?

No, the yeasts are each specially selected to make each respective drink.

Is delivery included?

Delivery is included for Pinter Packs to all UK post codes apart from Northern Ireland and the Scottish Highlands & Islands which incur a £2.00 postage fee.

The Pinter is much larger so has a shipping fee.

How many brews can one Pinter do? 

Each Pinter comes with a one year warranty. There is no limit on how many brews you can do in that time.

What Fresh Beers are available to make in the Pinter?

How is it more environmentally friendly?

One Pinter represents 17 x 330ml bottles or cans. That is replaced by significantly less packaging. Furthermore, because we transport just a fraction of the weight and volume that you would do for a fully brewed 17 cans of beer, there are big CO2 savings.

What temperature water can I add?

Use water from the cold tap. Hot tap water can be contaminated and if it’s too hot, it can kill the yeast. The water will quickly reach room temperature which is where it needs to be for the fermentation process.  

How long does it last once made?

30 days. 

How long can I leave it for if I haven’t tapped it?

30 days.

How is this process quicker than normal brewing?

We’ve spent 6 years researching everything from specialist yeast strains to special valve technology. Beyond that, our trade secrets need to stay a secret.

Can I add my own ingredients?

The Pinter warranty is only valid while Pinter Packs are the only ingredients used. Other products are not tested and may damage the Pinter.

Can I use another kit in the Pinter?

Do I need any other equipment to use it?

The Pinter is everything you need!

Will it fit in my fridge?

The Pinter is designed to fit in 80% of fridges without the need to change the shelf configuration. It is important to get the Pinter into the fridge in order to create a great drink so if at first it doesn’t fit, it may be necessary to rearrange the shelves.

Do I have to use special water or can it be tap?

Why is my drink cloudy?

The cloudiness of the drink depends in part on which drink you’ve chosen to make. Lots of craft beers are cloudy as they retain some of the key flavours that make the beer special – most importantly they’re unfiltered which is one of the tricks big industrial brewers use to make the drink more clear more quickly.  

Is my drink carbonated?

The Pinter produces a carbonated drink, varying depending on drink type.

Is it vegan/vegetarian?

Is it dishwasher friendly?

The Pinter is not dishwasher friendly.

How does it work?

 

Purchase one of three gift options and receive a gift presentation box including a complimentary glass and gift voucher. The voucher will display the exact gift option you have selected and explain what is included. The lucky person you have decided to gift will need to go to our website to redeem this using the unique gift voucher code which we will send to you by email.

The gift voucher code will be included in an email sent to you on the day we dispatch the gift presentation box, which you can write on the voucher or forward to the person you are gifting to.



How to purchase your gift voucher

3) Wait to receive a gift code - which will be emailed to you on dispatch of the gift presentation box including your complimentary glass and gift voucher (allow 5/7working days)

 

4) Receive your gift presentation box including your complimentary glass and gift voucher to hand over as a gift

 

5) Give the code (sent to you by email) to the recipient for them to redeem

 

How to redeem a gifted Pinter

 

Head to thegreatergood.co.uk/redeem - for detailed instructions on how to redeem. Select your Pinter choice + 2 drinks. (if you have further drinks or CoPinter you will need to add those firsts selections to your cart and continue shopping).

Head to the checkout and enter the code given to you by whoever made

the purchase (they will have received this by email on the day the gift presentation box was dispatched)

CO-PINTER 

THIS IS AN ADD-ON PRODUCT AND IS DISPATCHED WITHOUT A BREWING DOCK. IT CANNOT BE USED TO BREW WITHOUT OWNERSHIP OF AN EXISTING PINTER.

Brew one. Tap one. Available exclusively to Pinter owners, the CoPinter means a constant flow of Fresh Beer.

Use the CoPinter in tandem with your current Pinter. Enjoy the flexibility of leaving one Pinter brewing whilst you tap Fresh Beer from the other. Simply swap them over and start the cycle again when you're ready.

The CoPinter is the same as your Pinter but the CoPinter is sold with No Brewing Dock meaning no excess use of material or need for storage. You can use the brewing dock from your original Pinter purchase on both the Pinter and the Co-Pinter.

FRESH BEER CLUB - MONTHLY CLUB

How much does the monthly subscription cost?

On joining the FBC, your card is charged a one off cost and we send you a Welcome Pack. This Welcome Pack consists of Fresh Presses of your choice and a Welcome Glass. The joining cost is set at £12/£24/£36/£48 to mirror the cost of your monthly subscription. Your welcome pack will have 1/2/3/4 Fresh Presses in it to reflect that.

 

When will I be charged for the rolling subscription?

On 28th of every month you will be charged your monthly subscription cost (£12), we will then dispatch your chosen Fresh Beer following on the first working day of the month. 

 

How will my order be delivered?

Each Fresh Press will be sent in a separate box to ensure it’s delivered safely and efficiently through your letterbox. If you have a subscription of multiple Fresh Presses they may not all arrive together or on the same day.

 

When is the cut-off date to select my preferences for the month?

You have up until 28th of every month to make your Fresh Beer selection.

You can change or add to your Fresh Beer preferences for the next month right up to the 28th of the previous month. But the 28th is the cut off for changes to your selections.

 

What is the delivery time?

Please allow 3 working days for delivery from dispatch.

 

When is the cut-off date to join for the month?

The cut off for joining the Fresh Beer Club is the 20th of each month. 

If you signed up before this date, you will receive your first monthly order at the start of the next month. If you signed up after this date then your monthly deliveries (and charges) will start the month after next (i.e. approximately 40 days time from when you first join).

 

How do I skip a month of my subscription?

Log into your account and choose skip a month. You need to do this before 28th to ensure the next month is cancelled. The following month will automatically renew unless you make permanent changes.

 

How do I change my delivery address?

Log into your account and amend your delivery address. Do this before the 28th to ensure your Fresh Press arrives at your new address.
